Amy Yamileth Guardado Robles
Born June 3, 2008
Amy is a force for good, consistently hard working, bubbly, full of energy, and a brilliant artist. Yami is working to learn her third language, thriving in her first year of high school, has been twice recognized for kindness/caring award at school, paints, sews, draws, and as we were all pleasantly surprised in Summer of 22', Amy can also sing!!
A gifted and talented dancer, Amy is in her third year of pointe, dancing under the classic instruction of the Washington Ballet School and envisions a future where she can utilize her artistic gifts, language talents, and love for people to pursue a career in education or psychology using the arts as her medium. Often you can find her covered in paint, burning candles and playing records, crafting or creating something special to make someone else feel good.
Olivia Marisol Robles
Born June 11, 2008
Olivia is a Renaissance women; passionate about social justice, community engagement, science, books, music, theater, and basketball. Mari is working on a Gold Award in her 10th year of Girl Scouts. A gifted musician, Olivia plays piano, guitar, sings, and acts, the artist triple threat; dance, song, and acting!
Olivia is committed to social and environmental justice, with plans of earning her doctorate in veterinary medicine some day. Affectionally referred to as "Elmira" when she was little, Olivia's love of all animals and exploratory approach to life had her "hugging, squeezing, and loving" all the living things. Often you can find her conditioning for basketball, napping between events, and loving on her dog, cat, or bearded dragon, wrapped in blankets with a cup of tea, nose buried in books and journals, planning to take over the world.
